1) To draw straight vertical, horizontal, or diagonal line using the Pen Tool, you must click on the pen tool,
click on your project, and hold the shift button while draging out a line.
2) To draw a curved line using the Pen Tool, you must click on the project where you want the line to start,
and while clicking on the place you want the line to end, you drag up or down depending on where you want the line to go.
3) To draw a corner point on a curved line, deselct the curved line, then use the last end point to make a starting point.
4) Two ways to convert a smooth point on a curve to a corner point is to hold down shift and straighten the selcted line, and deselecting the line to make a new line.
5) To edit a segment on a curved line, you would use the direct selection tool.
