I am part of the intrapersonal learning style. I am able to work really well on my own without any help at all. It makes me angry when people try to help me. I learn better working alone on individual projects, self-paced instruction, and having my own space. I enjoy being alone and always get bothered by other people when they are around me. To make me cooperate in another class like biology where there are partners is to give me the most individual projects as possible. Teachers in a class as such should allow for people with my learning style to have their own labs to do by themselves unless partner work is absolutely necessary. If we have to work in groups, the group with the minimum capacity is the way to go. Other people are terribly distracting and it is hard to learn when there is a crowd. The best way to do group work is allow for the intrapersonal to write their own work without added handwriting from others. My favorite class is most likely math. You can do math independently in your own little emo corner. Math is also best learned at a comfortable pace. If there is a good explanation in the book, then there is no help necessary, which is the way people like me like things. I find that having my own time and space helps me to learn instead of others trying to teach me. I am a self-teaching person.
