You have been hired to design a logo for Kane Hollin's band Backwoods Galaxy The image you have to create needs to suggest that the farther into the woods you go, the deeper and more expansive the galaxy becomes. Imagine a field of trees up front but a closer look into the woods reveals stars, planets, etc- in short a galaxy. Some feeling of space can be given with the rings of Saturn effect, yet simultaneously convey the isolation of a deep forest (like the one from Wizard of Oz?) These hillbillies are from a whole different time and space. buzz words to get creative juices going: Mountains Planets Star Fields Trees Forest Moons Twilight Zone Outer Limits Deliverance Just remember that it is a bluegrass band but they feature a Folk Noir Sound in many minor keys about less-than-friendly characters. The winning logo will be selescted to be the logo for the Backwoods Galaxy- used in alltheir advertising, and merchandizing. |
